Series Brief:

Voice of All – The Magic Story Audio Drama is a fan-produced community project that adapts official Magic: The Gathering lore into full-cast audio productions, bringing the worlds and stories of the game to life through immersive performances.
The Kaldheim audio drama series is a Viking-inspired storyline set on the plane of Kaldheim. The production features a range of narrative episodes, including “Travelers”, following planeswalker Kaya as she enters this mythic realm, and “The Saga of Tibalt”, which explores local legends through the mischievous devil’s perspective. Additional tales include stories such as “Brokenbrow” and “The Saga of Lathril”, expanding the rich lore of Kaldheim.

My Contribution:

Early in my voice acting career, I had the opportunity to audition for Stories of Kaldheim, an independent production by Gen Doukeshi expanding upon the Magic: The Gathering universe. Inspired by Norse mythology and Nordic traditions, the 10-episode series explored the rich cultures, legends, and gods of the Kaldheim setting.
I was cast as Orhaft Stoneback, a non-binary character who uses they/them pronouns, appearing in “Kaldheim Extra 1: Know Which Way the Wind is Blowing.” Although a smaller role, Orhaft allowed me to contribute to the atmosphere and storytelling of a world built around strength, endurance, and ancient legend.

Who is Orhaft Stoneback?

Orhaft Stoneback is a Vedrune, an Omenseeker rune-priest entrusted with guiding their fellow seekers on a sacred journey. Their role is to negotiate with the Kannah while providing spiritual guidance and wisdom along the way.
A figure of quiet strength and resilience, Orhaft is known for their patience, discipline, and unwavering resolve. Their imposing presence is marked by a strong build, a shaved head, and distinctive blue runic tattoos that reflect their revered position within the Omenseeker community.
The name Stoneback was earned through an extraordinary act of endurance in battle. After taking a sword wound to the back, Orhaft continued fighting for hours without realising the extent of their injury, becoming a symbol of perseverance, determination, and unbreakable spirit.
