Coldread the Podcast was born from a serendipitous meeting between three voice actors: Eduardo “Zamoody” Riedel, Vinny “Eldurrino” Shultz, and Renara Hawke.
We initially crossed paths as fellow co-stars on Miskatonic Memorialist’s Darkest Dungeon series. In an effort to foster connections within the industry, I left positive testimonials for each of them, as well as for others involved in the project, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective roles.

This gesture prompted Zamoody to reach out to me with an exciting idea: a podcast for voice actors, by voice actors, streamed live every Sunday. Having been a part of the Twitch Sings community, and with that area of Twitch shutting down, Zamoody sought to create a new online space for creative collaboration. Although I had never streamed before, I was inspired by his vision and decided to join the endeavor.

Three years later, and after seven seasons, Coldread has covered a wide array of topics and featured a diverse lineup of guests, including June Yoon, Melissa Medina, Dave Swanson, and Erin Lundquist.

As of January 2024, one of our primary founding hosts, Eldurrino, made the decision to leave the podcast to focus on his music career. As a result, Coldread has been placed on hiatus, allowing the remaining hosts time to focus on our personal lives and careers, and to re-evaluate the podcast’s direction moving forward.

Coldread is set to return in January 2025, with new energy and a renewed vision for the future.
