Miskatonic Memorialist (Mattman) is a talented YouTuber whose channel specializes in in-depth lore content focused on Darkest Dungeon and other dark, atmospheric video games. His work dives deep into the narratives of these games, bringing rich lore to a wider audience and offering fresh perspectives on familiar stories.

At the start of 2020, Matt reached out to me through Casting Call Club, inviting me to voice a featured character for his Marvin Seo Journals series. The character I portrayed was Talon Mother, a tragic figure—a former slave girl turned vengeful bird witch after losing her son to raiders who destroyed her village. It was an emotional and complex role, and I was honored to bring her to life.

Matt was so pleased with my performance that he invited me back to voice another character for his Creature Collectors compilation. In this project, I voiced Margaret: The Musketeer, a no-nonsense rifle-woman with a tough, sullen demeanor that perfectly matched the harsh world she inhabits.
It was through this collaboration that Coldread: The Podcast was born, where I had the pleasure of meeting my fellow co-host, Zamoody, and forming a lasting professional relationship.

My most recent contribution to Matt’s work was in his magnum opus, Darkest Dungeon Lore: The Ancestor, where I voiced the Countess, a vampiric noble whose charm is matched only by her insatiable thirst for blood. With a sharp mind and sharper teeth, she commands her court with a deadly blend of elegance and cunning.

Matt and I have continued to work alongside one another in the industry, and our shared experiences in the YouTube sphere have fostered a strong and ongoing collaboration. I look forward to what future projects we may explore together!
